City Mission Schools was founded in August of 2023. 

Previously known as Impact Christian Academy, it provides a high-quality education with an emphasis on community engagement. Since the name change to City Mission in August of 2023, the mission of the school has been to “Make an Impact” in the city of Waterbury and to integrate this in practical ways through academics.

Our goal for City Mission Schools is to have students recognize the importance of their community as it relates to their education and their worldview. Education is beyond the individual but enhances the perspective of the individual for the success of their integration into the community around them. Through hands-on experiences, students learn to work as teams and accomplish tasks which increases the capability of academic competence and real world application.
